Muhammara

مُحَمَّرَة

Muhammara is a mildly spicy, tangy sauce made by pounding roasted red peppers, walnuts, pomegranate molasses, and breadcrumbs. It is served as a meze or sauce in Turkish and Syrian cuisines, especially in and around Antep.
