Made by combining ground lamb with onion and breadcrumbs, pan-frying and serving with currant jelly, these meatballs follow the British tradition of pairing lamb with sweet-and-sour flavors. Serve for brunch or as a snack.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Mix and shape the meatballs

10 min

Knead the ground lamb with the grated onion, breadcrumbs, egg, salt and black pepper, then shape into small meatballs.

2

Pan-fry the meatballs

15 min

Cook the meatballs in olive oil over medium heat for 15 minutes, turning to brown all sides, until cooked through.

3

Serve with the jelly

5 min

Serve the meatballs hot with currant jelly alongside.

Reminder

Lightly wet your hands before shaping the meatballs so the mixture rolls easily without sticking. Contains wheat (gluten from the breadcrumbs) and egg.

Jölenin tatlılığı kuzunun kendine has kokusunu bastırdı, bende dengeli bir eşleşme hissi bırakmadı. Belki daha az miktarda ya da yanında değil üstüne gezdirerek servis etmek daha iyi olurdu.
