Cevapi, a Balkan street food, is made by shaping spiced ground meat into finger-shaped logs and quickly cooking them in an air fryer. Whole-wheat breadcrumbs add heartiness, making this an affordable option for a party spread.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Mix the Meat

10 min

Thoroughly mix the ground beef and ground lamb with the crushed garlic, whole-wheat breadcrumbs, baking soda, salt, black pepper, and chili powder.

2

Shape

5 min

Shape the mixture into finger-thick logs, each 8 centimeters long.

3

Air Fry

10 min

Cook the meatballs in a preheated air fryer at 200°C / 390°F for 10 minutes, turning them halfway through. If you do not have an air fryer, cook them in an oven preheated to 220°C / 430°F on the broil setting for the same amount of time.

Reminder

Do not overwork the mixture while kneading, or the meatballs may become tough after cooking. Allergen: contains gluten (breadcrumbs).

Airfryer'da hazırlamak gerçekten çok pratikti, dışı güzel kızarmıştı, misafirlerim tarifi hemen istedi.
