This sorbet brings the fruit-dessert elegance of French cuisine to peaches lightly caramelized in an air fryer, blended with sugar syrup, and frozen. Since it contains no nuts, it is an option for brunch tables.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Roast the Peaches

12 min

Arrange the peach slices with space between them in the air-fryer basket. Roast at 190°C / 375°F for 12 minutes, until the edges caramelize. If you do not have an air fryer, roast them in an oven at the same temperature for 12 minutes.

2

Blend with the Syrup

8 min

Boil the sugar with the water for 5 minutes, then blend the roasted peaches and lemon juice with the syrup.

3

Freeze

150 min

Pour the mixture into a wide, shallow dish. Freeze for a total of 150 minutes, stirring it with a fork every 30 minutes during the first 90 minutes.

4

Serve

5 min

Divide the sorbet among bowls and serve immediately.

Reminder

Do not arrange the peaches too close together in the air fryer; if their edges touch, they may not caramelize evenly. If you do not have an air fryer, roast them in an oven at the same temperature for 12 minutes.
