Chicken and turkey
Chicken drumsticks are marinated with honey, mustard and garlic, then baked until caramelized on top. This practical main course uses affordable ingredients and is a family favorite for everyday dinners.
Mix the honey, mustard, crushed garlic, cooking oil, salt and black pepper in a bowl to make a smooth marinade.
Rub the marinade thoroughly over the drumsticks and refrigerate for at least 20 minutes, or a few hours if possible.
Spread the drumsticks out on a baking pan and cook in a preheated oven for the first 25 minutes.
Drizzle the remaining marinade over the drumsticks and cook for a further 15 minutes, until darkened and caramelized. Caution: watch the color closely towards the end, as the sugary marinade can burn quickly.
Important: marinate the drumsticks for at least 20 minutes before arranging them on the baking pan to allow the flavors to penetrate. Caution: the sugary marinade burns easily, so watch the color closely during the last 10 minutes in the oven. Allergens: contains mustard.
