This dolma is made by filling winter leek leaves with a ground meat and rice mixture and quickly cooking them in a pressure cooker. Economical ingredients make it a practical choice for everyday meals. Pressure cooking softens the leek fibers and cooks the filling quickly.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Prepare the leeks

8 min

Wash the leeks and separate the leaves one by one. Briefly blanch the thick stem sections until softened.

2

Prepare the filling

7 min

Mix the ground beef, rice, grated onion, tomato paste, salt, and black pepper to make the filling.

3

Fill and cook

25 min

Place the filling on the leek leaves and roll them tightly. Arrange them in the pressure cooker and add the water. Close the lid and, once it comes to pressure, cook over low heat for 25 minutes.

Reminder

Do not blanch the leek leaves for too long or they may tear when rolled.

Tarifte pişirme süresi 25 dakika yazıyor, benim duduklu tencerem daha yeni olduğu için 20 dakikada bile pırasa yumuşacık olmuştu. Bir dahaki sefere süreyi 20 dakikaya çekeceğim.
