Rōru kyabetsu, a comforting Japanese home-style dish, is made by filling cabbage leaves with ground chicken and quickly cooking the rolls in a pressure cooker. Wrapping them tightly helps keep them from falling apart as they cook.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Blanch the Cabbage Leaves

3 min

Blanch the cabbage leaves in boiling water for 3 minutes, until softened.

2

Prepare the Filling

6 min

Mix the ground chicken, onion, egg, breadcrumbs, and soy sauce to make the filling.

3

Roll

10 min

Divide the filling among the leaves and roll them up tightly.

4

Pressure-Cook

6 min

Arrange the rolls in a pressure cooker with water and close the lid. Cook for 6 minutes after it reaches pressure.

Reminder

Arrange the rolls snugly in the pressure cooker so they do not open and fall apart during cooking. Allergens: contains wheat (gluten, breadcrumbs), eggs, and soy.

Ruloları tarifteki gibi sıkıca sarmadım, düdüklüde basınç altında altı rulodan dördü açılıp harcı suya karıştı, sonuç lapa gibi bir çorbaya döndü ve pek de hoş olmadı.
