Individual savory muffins made by mixing mild melting cheese and white cheese into a savory batter and baking it in a muffin pan. Soft and easy to make, they are great for tea time, lunchboxes, or serving to guests.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Beat the wet ingredients

3 min

Beat the egg, milk, cooking oil, and yogurt together in a bowl.

2

Add the dry ingredients

4 min

Sift the flour with the baking powder and salt into the wet mixture. Stir just until no lumps remain, taking care not to overmix.

3

Fold in the cheeses

3 min

Gently fold the grated mild melting cheese, crumbled white cheese, and chopped dill into the batter.

4

Fill the muffin cups and bake

25 min

Divide the batter among the muffin cups, filling each two-thirds full. Bake in an oven preheated to 180°C / 355°F for 25 minutes, until the tops have puffed and turned golden. Check with a toothpick and serve.

Reminder

Important: Mixing the dry and wet ingredients separately before combining helps the muffins rise; do not overmix the batter. Fill the cups two-thirds full to prevent overflow. Contains gluten (wheat flour), eggs, and dairy (cheese and milk).
