This Kazakh flatbread is a way to use leftover bread dough. Cook it on a griddle or in a cast-iron skillet until both sides puff, then serve hot as a snack with cheese or clotted cream.

Cover the dough with plastic wrap and let it rest in a warm place for 20 minutes.
Roll the dough into a round, flat shape. Cook on a hot griddle or in a cast-iron skillet until it puffs and turns golden on both sides.
Do not heat the griddle over very high heat; the outside may burn while the inside stays raw. Cook patiently over medium heat. Contains wheat (gluten).
