A hearty, easy salad of tuna, corn, fresh vegetables and a lemon dressing. Rich in protein, it makes a light lunch or a convenient meal to pack for later.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Prepare the ingredients

8 min

Drain the tuna and corn. Chop the lettuce, red onion, cucumber and cherry tomatoes, and place them in a large bowl.

2

Make the dressing

2 min

Whisk the olive oil, lemon juice, salt and black pepper together in a small bowl.

3

Toss and serve

3 min

Break the tuna into large pieces and add it to the salad. Gently toss with the dressing and serve immediately.

Reminder

Drain the canned tuna well so excess liquid does not water down the salad. Toss the salad just before serving; the greens can release water and turn limp if mixed too early. Contains fish. Check the labels on packaged products, including canned tuna and corn, for ingredient and cross-contact information, as these can vary by brand.
