5 minMash the Turkish white cheese in a bowl with a fork until smooth.
These no-cook cheese balls are made by mixing mashed Turkish white cheese with thyme and Turkish red pepper flakes, then rolling it in chopped walnuts. Ready in fifteen minutes, they are low in carbohydrates and easy to carry, making them a handy addition to a picnic basket or lunchbox.
Mash the Turkish white cheese in a bowl with a fork until smooth.
Add the thyme, Turkish red pepper flakes, black pepper, salt and olive oil to the mashed cheese and mix thoroughly.
Take walnut-sized portions of the mixture, roll into balls, then coat in finely chopped walnuts.
If the cheese is too soft, the balls may fall apart in your hands. Chill the mixture for 10 minutes before shaping to help it hold together. Allergens: contains dairy (cheese) and tree nuts (walnuts).
