Prepare the Batter
10 minWhisk the mashed banana with the egg, melted butter, and sugar. Add the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt, then mix until smooth.
Inspired by Malaysia’s fried banana street food, this recipe mixes ripe banana into a batter, bakes it in a small pan in the air fryer, and serves it in slices. Using an air fryer instead of deep-frying delivers the same sweet flavor with less oil.
Whisk the mashed banana with the egg, melted butter, and sugar. Add the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt, then mix until smooth.
Pour the batter into a greased small pan. Place the pan in the air fryer basket, leaving space around the edges.
Air-fry at 170°C / 340°F for 20 minutes. If you do not have an air fryer, bake it for the same amount of time in an oven preheated to 170°C / 340°F.
Remove the bread from the pan, let it cool for 5 minutes, then slice and serve.
Leave space around the pan in the air fryer basket so air can circulate; otherwise, the top may remain undercooked. Allergen: contains wheat (gluten) and eggs.
Airfryer'ım küçük kaldığı için hamurun yarısını ayırıp iki ayrı turda pişirdim, her tur 20 dakika yerine 15 dakikada yeterince piştiğini gördüm çünkü kalıp incecikti ve ısı daha hızlı işledi.
Kalıbım biraz büyük olduğu için önerilen 20 dakika yetmedi, 26 dakikada ortası tam pişti; kenarları erken kızarmasın diye pişirmenin son 10 dakikasında üzerini folyoyla örttüm.
170 derecede 20 dakika pişirdim, üstü hafif çıtır oldu ve kahvaltıda ailece bitirdik.
