Chicken fillet slices are marinated with lemon juice and thyme, then quickly air-fried with a little oil. This low-fat dinner is suitable for people with diabetes, and its short cooking time makes it practical for busy weeknights.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Marinate

10 min

Toss the chicken fillet slices with the olive oil, lemon juice, thyme, garlic powder, salt and black pepper. Leave for 10 minutes.

2

Cook in the air fryer

12 min

Arrange the marinated chicken in the air-fryer basket and cook at 190°C / 375°F for 12 minutes, turning halfway through. If you do not have an air fryer, cook in an oven preheated to 190°C / 375°F for the same amount of time.

3

Rest and serve

2 min

Let the cooked chicken rest for 2 minutes, then slice and scatter with fresh thyme.

Reminder

Cut the fillets into slices of even thickness. Thicker ends may remain raw inside.
