These sugar-free pear chips, an American-style baby snack, are made by slowly drying thinly sliced pears in an air fryer. Naturally sweet and suitable for people with diabetes, they make a safe finger food for little hands.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Prepare the Pears

10 min

Core the pears and slice them thinly, about 2 millimeters thick. Toss lightly with the lemon juice.

2

Toss with Cinnamon

3 min

Sprinkle the cinnamon evenly over the slices.

3

Dry in the Air Fryer

15 min

Arrange the slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket and dry at 90°C / 195°F for 15 minutes, turning once halfway through. If you do not have an air fryer, dry the same slices in a preheated oven at 100°C / 210°F for 40 minutes.

Reminder

If the slices are too thick, they will take longer to dry and may remain moist in the center; slice them as thinly as possible.
