Baby food recipes
A soft, no-added-sugar baby cake made with rice flour and grated apple. From the twelfth month onward, once a baby is ready to self-feed, it can be cut into age-appropriate pieces and offered as a finger food.
How to make it?
Add the rice flour and baking powder. Stir until you have a smooth batter.
Pour the batter into a small greased cake pan.
Bake in a preheated oven until the center is fully cooked.
Let the cake cool until lukewarm, then slice and serve.
Reminder
Do not add sugar to baby food; the apple’s natural sweetness is enough. Make sure the center of the cake is fully cooked. Introduce new foods one at a time and watch for signs of an allergic reaction. Consult your pediatrician about the feeding plan. Allergens: The ingredient list includes milk and egg. Check packaged products for other allergens on the label.
