A practical skillet dish inspired by Russian cuisine, made with thin strips of beef cooked with onion and cremini mushrooms in a creamy sauce. The short cooking time keeps the meat tender. Serve with rice or noodles for a quick, hearty dinner.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Sear the beef

6 min

Heat the butter in a large skillet. Quickly sear the beef strips over high heat, then set them aside.

2

Sauté the vegetables

8 min

Add the onion and mushrooms to the same skillet and sauté until they release and reabsorb their liquid.

3

Make the sauce

4 min

Add the cream and mustard. Reduce the heat and stir for a few minutes; do not boil.

4

Combine and serve

2 min

Return the beef to the skillet and season with salt and black pepper. Heat for a few minutes and serve hot.

Reminder

Important: Cut the beef into thin strips and cook it briefly over high heat to keep it tender; longer cooking will toughen it. Allergen: contains dairy from the cream. Reduce the heat after adding the cream; boiling may cause it to curdle.

Fırın yerine tencerede yapmak mümkün mü? Bu miktar kaç kişilik oluyor, biraz belirsiz kaldı?

Merhaba, evet fırın yerine tencerede de yapabilirsiniz, ateşi kısık tutmanız yeterli.

Bence tarif biraz fazla şekerli, herkese göre değişir tabii.

Pişirme süresi fırınıma göre 10 dakika uzun sürdü. İlk 20 dakika üzerini örttüm, sonrasında açtım, böyle daha dengeli pişti. Tarifte yazan sıcaklık bende biraz yüksek geldi, kısarak denedim.
