Melt the butter mixture
4 minStir the butter, honey, and brown sugar over low heat until melted and smooth.
A classic British snack, flapjacks are made by mixing rolled oats with melted butter and honey, pressing the mixture into a pan, and baking it. Slice the bars after baking for an easy dessert to share with a crowd.
Stir the butter, honey, and brown sugar over low heat until melted and smooth.
Add the rolled oats, raisins, cinnamon, and salt to the melted mixture and stir well.
Pour the mixture into a parchment-lined baking pan. Use the back of a spoon to press it down firmly and smooth the top.
Bake in an oven preheated to 170°C / 340°F for 20 minutes, until the edges are lightly browned. Let cool for 10 minutes, then slice while still warm.
Important: press the mixture firmly into the pan so the bars do not crumble after baking. Allergens: contains gluten (oats) and milk (butter).
