These no-bake chocolate cookie balls are made by combining crushed cookies and cocoa with butter, then shaping the mixture into small balls. Rolling each ball evenly in shredded coconut and getting the texture just right takes care and experience. Once chilled, the balls are a convenient dessert that can be served whole.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Crush the cookies

5 min

Crush the cookies in a bag or blender until they become fine crumbs.

2

Make the mixture

10 min

Add the cocoa and confectioners’ sugar to the cookie crumbs and mix. Gradually add the melted butter and milk, kneading until the mixture is firm enough to shape.

3

Shape the balls

15 min

Take pieces of the mixture about 3 cm in diameter, roll them firmly between your palms, and coat each ball in shredded coconut.

4

Chill

60 min

Arrange the balls on a tray and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, until firm.

Reminder

Lightly dampen your hands before shaping the mixture; otherwise, the cookie mixture may stick to them. Contains wheat (gluten from the cookies) and milk.
