Sauté the turkey
6 minHeat the olive oil in a frying pan. Season the turkey slices with salt and black pepper, sauté for 6 minutes, then transfer to a plate.
Inspired by the German pairing of mustard and apple, this dish combines thinly sliced turkey breast with apple slices, gently sautéed in a pan. Cooked with little oil, it is a light meal to pack and take with you.
Heat the olive oil in a frying pan. Season the turkey slices with salt and black pepper, sauté for 6 minutes, then transfer to a plate.
Sauté the onion and apple slices in the same pan for 8 minutes, until softened.
Return the turkey to the pan, stir in the Dijon mustard and cook for another 6 minutes until the sauce reaches the right consistency.
Slice the turkey thinly; thick slices quickly become dry and tough in the pan. Allergens: contains mustard.
