Argentine barbecue culture comes to the table with brochetas: cubes of beef are threaded onto skewers with bell pepper, onion, and zucchini, then cooked over hot coals. Marinating the beef for 1 hour helps tenderize it and build flavor on the grill.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Marinate the Beef

60 min

Toss the beef cubes with olive oil, garlic, thyme, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Cover and refrigerate for 60 minutes.

2

Thread the Skewers

10 min

Thread the beef onto skewers, alternating with the bell pepper, onion, and zucchini slices.

3

Grill

12 min

Grill the skewers over medium-high heat, turning occasionally, for 12 minutes, until the beef is medium and the vegetables are lightly browned.

Reminder

If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 20 minutes before cooking or they may catch fire.
