A quick, warm snack made in minutes on a barbecue with store-bought Turkish flatbread, no yeast rising needed. Filled with olives and kashar cheese, it is easy to make outdoors with picnic-friendly ingredients.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Prepare the ingredients

7 min

Grate the kashar cheese and chop the olives and tomato. Mix them in a bowl with the olive oil and thyme.

2

Fill the flatbreads

3 min

Spread the mixture over one half of each flatbread. Fold the other half over the filling and press gently.

3

Cook near the coals

8 min

Place the flatbreads near the edge of the coals, not directly over them. Cook for 2–3 minutes per side, turning, until the cheese melts and the flatbread is lightly browned.

4

Slice and serve

2 min

While hot, cut into triangles and serve immediately.

Reminder

Place the flatbread near the edge of the coals, not directly over the flames; direct flame can burn it in seconds. Allergens: contains wheat (gluten) from the flatbread and milk and dairy products from the kashar cheese.
