Place the egg in a pot with cold water and bring it to a boil.
A simple, protein-rich mash made with hard-boiled egg yolk. It is a modest first food for babies beginning to eat egg from the eighth month onward.
How to make it?
Once the water starts boiling, continue cooking the egg for 10 minutes, until hard-boiled.
Peel the egg and separate the yolk. Mash it with lukewarm water until smooth.
Reminder
Important: Do not add salt to baby food. Egg is a major allergen; for a first try, offer only the yolk in a small amount and watch for signs of an allergic reaction. Make sure the egg is fully hard-boiled. Consult your child’s pediatrician about the feeding plan.
