Fish fillets are marinated with turmeric, hot pepper paste and lemon, then threaded onto skewers and grilled in a kebab that brings the generous spicing of Iranian cooking to fish. Low in calories and suitable for pescatarians, it works as a late-night snack or a brunch dish.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Marinate the fish

15 min

Toss the fish cubes with the hot pepper paste, turmeric, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil and salt. Marinate for 15 minutes.

2

Thread onto skewers

10 min

Thread the marinated fish cubes onto skewers.

3

Grill

20 min

Grill over medium-high heat for 20 minutes, turning to cook all sides, until the fish is cooked and lightly charred.

4

Serve

5 min

Scatter the skewers with fresh cilantro and serve hot.

Reminder

Do not pack the fish pieces too tightly onto the skewers, or they may fall apart during cooking. Lightly oil metal skewers before cooking to keep the fish from sticking. Allergens: the ingredient list contains fish. Check the labels of packaged products for other allergens.

Levrek yerine somon kullansam marine süresini kısaltmam gerekir mi, yoksa 15 dakika her ikisi için de yeterli mi? Izgara süresini de balığın kalınlığına göre ayarlamak mantıklı olur mu diye merak ediyorum.
