A hearty Irish breakfast classic, this dish pairs thinly sliced beef liver quickly cooked in a skillet with a rich onion sauce made in a pressure cooker. The flour-free sauce also makes the recipe suitable for a ketogenic diet.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Make the onion sauce

8 min

Sauté the onion in butter in the pressure cooker for 3 minutes, then add the meat stock. Close the lid and cook for 8 minutes after the cooker starts to whistle, until the sauce is thick.

2

Cook the liver

6 min

Quickly cook the beef liver in a separate skillet with the salt and black pepper for 6 minutes.

3

Combine and serve

2 min

Add the cooked liver to the onion sauce and heat, stirring, for 2 minutes.

Reminder

Do not overcook the liver; cooking it for more than 6 minutes may make it tough and rubbery. Contains dairy (butter).

6 dakikalık pişirme süresi ciğeri tam kıvamında bıraktı, düdüklü sosu da inanılmaz koyulaştı, gerçek bir İrlanda kahvaltısı tadı aldım.
