Soak the rice
60 minSoak the rice in plenty of water for at least 1 hour, then drain.
A classic Korean baby food, this porridge is made by cooking rice with beef and carrots in a pressure cooker until smooth. It is suitable for babies 10 months and older as a breakfast or snack.
Soak the rice in plenty of water for at least 1 hour, then drain.
Sauté the beef in sesame oil for 5 minutes, until it changes color.
Add the drained rice, carrot, and water. Close the pressure cooker and cook for 15 minutes after it comes to pressure. Let the pressure release naturally.
Blend the mixture until it forms a smooth porridge.
Do not skip soaking the rice for at least 1 hour; unsoaked rice may not become completely smooth, even in a pressure cooker. Allergen: contains sesame.
