Pizza and Turkish flatbreads
This easy homemade pizza uses shredded leftover chicken, tomato sauce, Kashar cheese, and olive oil on a simple yeast dough. It is a practical way to use leftover chicken, with just a few steps to prepare.
Mix the dry yeast dissolved in lukewarm water with the flour, salt, and olive oil to make a soft dough.
Cover the dough with plastic wrap and let it rise in a warm place for 60 minutes, until doubled in size.
Stretch out the dough and spread the tomato sauce, leftover shredded chicken, and Kashar cheese over it.
Bake in a preheated 220°C / 430°F oven for 15 minutes, until the edges are golden.
Allow the full 60 minutes for the dough to rise; cutting the time short can make the crust tough. Contains wheat (gluten) and dairy.
