This no-cook breakfast and party dessert combines classic Indian mango lassi with chia seeds. As it chills in the refrigerator, the chia seeds swell and give the pudding a velvety texture.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Puree the Mango

3 min

Blend the ripe mango until smooth.

2

Make the Lassi Mixture

4 min

Mix the mango puree with the yogurt, honey, and cardamom to make a lassi-like mixture.

3

Add the Chia Seeds

180 min

Stir the chia seeds into the mixture until evenly distributed. Divide it among glasses and refrigerate for at least 3 hours.

4

Serve

3 min

Remove the pudding from the refrigerator and stir once more. Garnish with mango cubes, if desired, and serve.

Reminder

Stir the mixture once more during the first 10 minutes after adding the chia seeds; otherwise, they may sink and clump. Allergen: contains milk and dairy products.
