Recipes for children
These meatballs are made with ground chicken breast bound with almond flour, baked, and topped with a spicy tomato sauce. Dairy-free and low-carb, they work for children and brunch gatherings.
Thoroughly mix the ground chicken, almond flour, egg, grated onion, and salt. Shape into small round meatballs.
Grate the tomatoes. Sauté them in olive oil for a few minutes with the garlic, dried chili pepper, sweet paprika, and cumin.
Arrange the meatballs on a baking sheet and pour the sauce over them. Bake in an oven preheated to 190°C / 375°F until the meatballs are cooked and the sauce has thickened.
Leave space between the meatballs on the baking sheet; if they touch, they will steam instead of browning. Allergen: Contains egg and tree nuts (almonds).
