Missi roti is a nourishing Indian breakfast flatbread made by combining chickpea flour with finely milled wheat flour and seasoning it with cumin and chili. Cooked with a little oil, it is a low-calorie option for everyday breakfasts.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Knead the dough

12 min

Mix the chickpea flour with the wheat flour, cumin, finely chopped chili pepper, onion, and salt. Knead with a little water to make a firm dough.

2

Roll out the dough

8 min

Divide the dough into small portions and roll each one into a thin circle.

3

Cook the flatbreads

25 min

Cook the rolled-out dough on a hot griddle with a little cooking oil until brown spots appear on both sides.

Reminder

Do not use too much flour when rolling out the dough; excess dry flour can make the layers tough and cause the bread to crack when cooked. Allergens: contains wheat (gluten) and chickpeas.

Nohut unu yerine mercimek unu kullanabilir miyim, ikisi aynı bağlayıcılığı verir mi yoksa hamur çok mu dağılır diye gerçekten merak ediyorum, deneyen biri var mı acaba?
