Carrots, zucchini, potatoes, green beans and peas are steamed in a pressure cooker with little oil for a light yet filling dish for those seeking heart-friendly eating habits. It is easy to pack in a lunchbox and tastes good even when cold.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Prepare the vegetables

10 min

Cut the carrots, zucchini, potatoes and green beans into large cubes, and finely chop the onion.

2

Pressure-cook

15 min

Lightly sauté the onion in olive oil in the pressure cooker. Add the chopped vegetables and peas and stir in half a 200 ml measure of water. Close the lid and, once the cooker whistles, lower the heat and cook for 15 minutes.

3

Release the pressure

10 min

Turn off the heat and allow the pressure to drop naturally. Do not force the lid open.

4

Finish and serve

5 min

Open the lid, season with salt and black pepper, scatter over chopped dill and serve.

Reminder

Cut the vegetables into similarly sized pieces, or smaller pieces will soften before larger ones are cooked.
