Fruit recipes
Often served at Moroccan celebrations, this sweet salad combines dates and oranges with toasted walnuts, cinnamon and orange blossom water. Serve it as a dried fruit platter for a party.
Quarter the dates. Peel and slice the oranges.
Lightly toast the walnuts in a dry frying pan, then break into coarse pieces.
Arrange the dates, oranges and walnuts on a wide plate. Sprinkle with cinnamon and drizzle with the orange blossom water and honey.
Leave to rest for five minutes before serving to let the flavors mingle.
Stay by the stove while toasting the walnuts, as small pieces can burn very quickly. Allergens: contains tree nuts (walnuts).
