Make the marinade
4 minWhisk the honey, mustard, olive oil, lemon juice, crushed garlic, salt, and black pepper together in a bowl.
Salmon fillets baked with a honey, mustard, and lemon marinade until lightly caramelized outside and juicy inside. This easy dish makes an elegant dinner with a green salad or roasted vegetables.
Whisk the honey, mustard, olive oil, lemon juice, crushed garlic, salt, and black pepper together in a bowl.
Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet and brush with half of the marinade.
Bake in an oven preheated to 200°C / 390°F until the salmon flakes when pressed with a fork. Caution: Do not overcook; salmon dries out easily.
Brush the baked salmon with the remaining marinade and serve with chopped dill.
Important: Do not overcook the salmon. It is ready when it flakes under gentle pressure with a fork; cooking it until dry will make it tough. The honey marinade contains sugar and browns quickly at high heat, so cover the top with foil during the final minutes if needed. Contains fish and mustard. Check packaged ingredients for other allergens.
