Inspired by the mildly spiced fish dishes of Pakistani cuisine, this puree combines cooked rice with steamed haddock fillet and a small amount of cumin and turmeric. Prepared without salt or sugar, it offers a gentle introduction to new flavors for babies.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Cook the rice

20 min

Place the rice and water in a saucepan and boil for 20 minutes, until the grains are soft.

2

Steam the Fish

15 min

Rub the haddock fillet with the cumin and turmeric, then steam it in a steamer basket for 15 minutes.

3

Blend Until Smooth

10 min

Add the cooked rice, steamed fish, and olive oil to a blender with a little of the cooking water. Blend for 10 minutes, until smooth.

Reminder

Before steaming the haddock fillet, feel it carefully with your fingers and check for any remaining pin bones. Allergen: contains fish.
