Prepare the Marinade
5 minMix the yogurt, turmeric, red pepper powder, cumin, and salt.
A favorite Indian snack for kids, paneer tikka is made by marinating cubed fresh cheese in a spiced yogurt mixture and baking it. Its low-carb profile makes it a colorful addition to picnic baskets and birthday tables.
Mix the yogurt, turmeric, red pepper powder, cumin, and salt.
Coat the cubed paneer, bell pepper, and onion in the marinade and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
Thread the marinated paneer, bell pepper, and onion pieces onto skewers in an alternating order.
Lightly brush the skewers with olive oil and bake in an oven preheated to 200°C / 390°F for 15 minutes, until the edges are lightly browned.
Do not turn the paneer cubes too often while baking; they may fall apart. Allergen: contains dairy.
