A soft, unsweetened baby pudding made with rice flour. It is a light, filling snack or dessert for babies from the eighth month who are beginning to have dairy products.

How to make it?

Prepare the mixture

Set aside a small amount of the milk and whisk the rice flour into it until smooth and lump-free.

Cook the pudding

Heat the remaining milk in a saucepan, add the rice flour mixture and cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thickened. Remove from the heat when it coats the back of a spoon.

Cool slightly and serve

Spoon the pudding into a bowl and let it cool until lukewarm. If you like, add a spoonful of fruit purée on top and serve it to your baby lukewarm.

Reminder

Important: no sugar is added to this recipe. Cow’s milk should only be given to babies aged one year and older; for younger babies, use breast milk or follow-on formula. Introduce new foods one at a time and watch for signs of an allergy; consult your doctor about the feeding routine. Serve the pudding on the same day.
