This puree is made by pressure-cooking carrots and zucchini with fine bulgur. It is a convenient breakfast option for babies who are beginning to eat with a spoon. Divide it into small covered containers to pack easily in a picnic bag.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Cook the Vegetables and Bulgur

15 min

Put the grated carrot, grated zucchini, and fine bulgur in a pressure cooker and add the water. Secure the lid and bring to pressure over medium heat. When the pressure indicator sounds, reduce the heat and cook for 15 minutes.

2

Wait for the Steam to Release

10 min

Turn off the heat and wait 10 minutes for the steam to release naturally before opening the cooker.

3

Puree the Mixture

5 min

Open the lid, add the olive oil, and blend until smooth.

4

Divide into Containers

5 min

Once the puree has cooled until lukewarm, divide it into small covered containers; they are easy to carry in a picnic bag.

Reminder

Do not open the pressure cooker too early; hot liquid may splatter if you open it before all the steam has escaped. Allergen: contains wheat (gluten from bulgur).

Kabak ve havucun tatlılığı bulgurla çok uyumlu oldu, bebeğim kâsesini tek seferde bitirdi.
