A naturally sweet, soft, single-ingredient pumpkin puree that babies enjoy. Rich in vitamin A and free of added sugar, it is a nourishing first food that can be offered from the sixth month of age.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Prepare the pumpkin

5 min

Remove the pumpkin rind and seeds, then cut it into small cubes.

2

Steam the pumpkin

15 min

Steam the pumpkin cubes, or cook them with a little water, for about 15 minutes, until soft enough to mash easily with a fork.

3

Mash and serve

3 min

Mash the cooked pumpkin with a fork or puree it in a blender. Add boiled, lukewarm water to reach a consistency appropriate for your baby’s stage, and serve lukewarm.

Reminder

Do not add salt or sugar to baby food; pumpkin’s natural sweetness is enough. When introducing a new food, follow the 3-day rule and watch for signs of an allergic reaction. Consult your child’s pediatrician about their feeding routine. Store the puree in a covered container in the refrigerator for no more than 24 hours.
