These patties are made by mixing cooked quinoa with grated zucchini and carrot, then baking until set. They offer kids an easy way to try quinoa, a whole grain, without frying.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Cook the quinoa

15 min

Cook the quinoa in water according to the package directions, then drain and let it cool.

2

Make the mixture

10 min

Mix the cooled quinoa with the grated zucchini, carrot, egg, cheese, and dill. Season with salt and black pepper.

3

Shape and bake

20 min

Shape the mixture into small patties and arrange them on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake in an oven preheated to 200°C / 390°F for about 20 minutes, turning them over halfway through.

Reminder

Important: Squeeze the grated zucchini by hand to remove excess water; otherwise, the mixture may fall apart and the patties will not hold their shape. Allergens: contains dairy and eggs. The shaped patties can be frozen before baking.
