Brown the sausage

A hearty skillet breakfast made with browned slices of spiced beef sausage, grated melting cheese, and eggs. The sausage seasoning, gooey cheese, and eggs come together in a filling weekend breakfast.
Add the sausage slices to a skillet with a little butter, or use a dry skillet. Cook over low to medium heat for 3–4 minutes, until lightly browned on both sides and the fat is rendered.
Spread the grated melting cheese over the sausage, then crack the eggs into the gaps. Cover and cook over low heat until the cheese melts and the egg whites are set.
Sprinkle with black pepper. Serve hot in the skillet with bread.
Add the grated cheese just before the eggs and cover the pan to melt it while keeping it gooey. The sausage releases its own fat, so you may not need extra oil. Cook the eggs over low heat to keep the yolks at your preferred consistency. Contains eggs, red meat (sausage), and dairy (cheese).
