Pizza and Turkish flatbreads
This seafood dish from the Aegean coast is made by topping thin yeasted dough with sautéed shrimp, tomato sauce, and kashar cheese and baking it. With no meat and plenty of seafood, it suits breakfast or dinner for seafood lovers.
Knead the flour, yeast, sugar, salt, olive oil, and warm water into a smooth dough.
Cover the dough and let it rise for 45 minutes, until doubled in size.
Sauté the shrimp in olive oil with the garlic and red pepper flakes for 4 minutes.
Roll the dough into a thin round and fold up the edges. Spread the tomato sauce on top, then add the sautéed shrimp and grated kashar cheese.
Bake in an oven preheated to 220°C / 430°F for 15 minutes, until the edges are golden.
Do not overcook the shrimp; they will become rubbery if cooked for more than 4 minutes. Allergens: Contains wheat (gluten), dairy, and shellfish (shrimp).
