Sauté the onion
5 minHeat the olive oil and sauté the finely chopped onion until lightly golden.
A little-known but nourishing legume dish in which soybeans are cooked in olive oil with carrots and green beans. Served warm or cold, it is well suited to a light evening meal.
Heat the olive oil and sauté the finely chopped onion until lightly golden.
Add the tomato paste and cook briefly, then add the carrots and green beans and stir for a few minutes.
Add the soaked soybeans to the pan, then add hot water, sugar, and salt. Cover and cook over low heat until the beans are very tender.
Once the beans are tender, check the sauce consistency. Simmer for a few more minutes if needed, then serve warm or cold.
Important: Soak the soybeans in plenty of water overnight. If they are not soaked sufficiently, the cooking time will be noticeably longer. Allergen: contains soy.
