Reflecting the Spanish culinary tradition of using olive oil in baby food from an early age, this puree is made by boiling potatoes, zucchini, and carrots, then mashing them with olive oil. Prepared without salt or sugar, it is suitable as an early flavor experience for babies.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Boil the vegetables

20 min

Boil the chopped potato, zucchini, and carrot in water with the lid on for 20 minutes, until soft enough to mash with a fork.

2

Reserve some cooking water

2 min

Drain the vegetables and set aside half a 200 ml measure of the cooking water.

3

Mash and add the olive oil

5 min

Mash the vegetables with the olive oil using a fork or blender until smooth.

4

Adjust the consistency

3 min

If the puree is too thick, gradually add some of the reserved cooking water until it reaches a consistency suitable for your baby.

Reminder

Always check that the puree is lukewarm before feeding it to your baby; puree thinned with cooking water may be hotter than it looks. Allergen-free.
