A classic Italian pizza topped with thinly sliced spicy salami and mozzarella over tomato sauce. The salami curls slightly in the oven, adding a signature look and flavor.
Add the yeast to the lukewarm water. Add the olive oil, flour, and salt, then knead into an elastic dough. Cover and let rise for 45 minutes.
Shape the risen dough into a round and spread a thin layer of strained tomatoes over it.
Spread the mozzarella evenly over the dough. Arrange the thinly sliced salami on top and sprinkle with thyme.
Bake in an oven preheated to 250°C / 480°F for 12–15 minutes, until the cheese melts and the salami edges curl slightly.
Slice the pizza after taking it out of the oven and serve hot.
Important: Slice the salami very thinly; thick slices can become tough and hard to chew as they cook. Allergen: contains wheat (gluten) and dairy.
