Wash and peel the turnip and carrot, then cut them into small cubes.
A mildly sweet, textured baby purée combining turnip and carrot. From the eighth month onward, it offers babies a nourishing way to try different root vegetables.
How to make it?
Cook them together in a little water until tender.
Blend with some of the cooking water until smooth.
Reminder
Do not add salt to baby food; the carrot’s natural sweetness is enough. When trying a new food, follow the three-day rule and watch for signs of an allergic reaction. Consult your child’s doctor about their feeding plan. Serve the purée the same day, or portion and freeze it.
