15 minFor each dough, cream the butter and sugar separately, then add an egg. Mix vanilla and flour into one portion, and cocoa and flour into the other to make two doughs.
A striking two-color cookie made by layering vanilla and cocoa dough and rolling them together. Each slice reveals a spiral pattern that stands out on a dessert table.
For each dough, cream the butter and sugar separately, then add an egg. Mix vanilla and flour into one portion, and cocoa and flour into the other to make two doughs.
Roll out both doughs into equal-sized rectangles between sheets of plastic wrap. Place the vanilla dough on top of the cocoa dough.
Roll the two layers together tightly, wrap the log in plastic wrap, and chill it in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour until firm.
Slice the log into rounds about 1 cm thick and arrange them on a baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven until the edges are lightly browned.
Allergens: contains wheat (gluten), eggs, and dairy. Important: Chill the dough log in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before slicing. If it has not firmed up enough, the cookies may lose their shape and fall apart as you cut them.
