Flouring the mold is sprinkling a thin layer of flour on the inner surface of the greased mold. The flour layer forms a second barrier that prevents the baked dough from sticking to the mold. Excess flour is poured out by turning the mold.
Where It's Used
“Sprinkle a spoon of flour into the greased mold, turn it around, and shake out the excess.”
