Does this differ for non-dairy whipping creams?

Non-dairy creams generally reach the right consistency a little later than dairy cream, so whipping time can run slightly longer than the recipe states; the same visual cues still apply when judging when to stop. If a non-dairy cream is being used, chilling the carton in the fridge for a few hours before whipping helps it firm up more easily.
