Soften the dried peaches
20 minSoak the dried peaches in warm water for 20 minutes, until softened.
Alani is a simple yet festive Armenian dessert made by stuffing softened dried peaches with a mixture of walnuts, honey, and cinnamon. Since it requires no baking, it is an easy last-minute addition to a tea table.
Soak the dried peaches in warm water for 20 minutes, until softened.
Mix the chopped walnuts, honey, and cinnamon in a bowl.
Gently open the softened peaches and fill them with the mixture.
Let the stuffed peaches rest for 10 minutes before serving.
Do not try to open the dried peaches before they have softened enough in warm water, or they may tear. Allergen: tree nuts (walnuts).
