Boil the Broccoli
5 minBoil the broccoli in water for 5 minutes, then drain.
Large broccoli florets are tossed with a creamy cheese sauce, topped with breadcrumbs, and baked until golden. A favorite for large brunch gatherings, this casserole is served from a large dish.
Boil the broccoli in water for 5 minutes, then drain.
Heat the cream with the garlic powder and melt in half of the kashar cheese.
Mix the boiled broccoli with the sauce and transfer it to a large baking dish.
Mix the breadcrumbs with the melted butter. Sprinkle the mixture over the broccoli along with the remaining kashar cheese.
Bake in a preheated 190°C / 375°F oven for 30 minutes, until golden on top.
Do not overboil the broccoli, or it may become too soft and fall apart in the oven. Contains dairy (cream, kashar cheese, butter) and gluten (breadcrumbs).
