Prepare the wet mixture
3 minWhisk the mashed banana, eggs, granulated sugar, and sunflower oil for 3 minutes, until smooth.
This cake is made by mashing ripe bananas and folding them together with walnuts. Cinnamon adds a warm aroma, and the cake comes out of the oven with a tender, slightly moist crumb. Once sliced and stored in a container, it travels well the next day, making it a practical lunchbox treat.
Whisk the mashed banana, eggs, granulated sugar, and sunflower oil for 3 minutes, until smooth.
Sift the flour, baking powder, and cinnamon into the mixture. Add the walnuts and stir gently.
Pour the batter into a greased cake pan. Bake in an oven preheated to 170°C / 340°F for 35 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Let the cake cool completely before removing it from the pan, or it may fall apart. Allergens: wheat (gluten), egg, and tree nuts (walnuts).
Kek yeterince tatlı olmasına rağmen tarifte yazan tarçın miktarı bana biraz baskın geldi, her lokmada tarçın öne çıktı.
